koh kham yai Location : Around 800 meters northeastward of Koh Si Chang.To get there : Board the passenger boat to Koh Si Chang at Charin Port in Si Racha. The boat will stop at Koh Kham Yai befor getting further to Koh Si Chang, or before getting back to the land in returning trip.
Details : Koh Kham Yai is the largest island among the minor islands of Koh Si Chang. It is the home of a few seamen's families, and travelers could come to swim at around the village, or do fishing around the island. Nowadays, Koh Kham Yai is more popular for tourists, so passenger boat from Si Racha to Koh Si Chang will stop at this island both in coming and the returning trips. There is no resorts or hotels on this island, but travelers might choose to stay over in homestay style of accommodation.
For the festive lovers, it is recommended that you come to the island around Song Kran Festival (10-14 April). At that time, Koh Kham will organize a very colorful and joyful festival.
