koh rang is the main island of Mu Koh Rang and is the location of the National Park Ranger Unit. The island has abundant forests that provide freshwater throughout the year. The two beaches at Koh Rang are Haad Ao Bo where the Ranger Unit is located, and Haad San Chao which are very white sandy beach suitable for swimming..Although it is more convenient to stay overnight at Koh Mak or Koh Kood, it is slao nice to spend some nights at the camping area on Koh Rang. However,
you need to ask for the permission from the Park office first. In the evening, you can see the superb sunset scenery behind the island at Ao Khuad, which could be reached by motorboat.

Koh Kradad or a Paper Islandis a private island with no inhabitant

koh kradad Location : Around 1 kilometer northeastward of Koh Mak To get there : There is no boat service provided to the island , so travelers should hire the motorboat from Ao Ta Nid Port on Koh Mak, or just buy the touring package from Koh Krdad Resort.Most of the areas of the island are so flat that it looks just like a floating sheet of paper in the sea. This is the origin of the name "Koh Kradad" or a Paper Island. The island if full of grassy plain which will be very green during the rainy season and change to brown in summer. And there are a lot of deer living on the island, which is quite an outstanding feature really. Koh Kradad is a private island with no inhabitant, only the wide beaches and ranges of coral reef around the island.

Koh Kham "The Emerald of Trat Sea"

koh kham Location : about 500 meters westward of Koh Mak, near Ao Suan Yai.
To get there : Take a motorboat from Koh Mak Resort at Ao Suan Yai. The fee is 50 baht and the journey takes about 10 minutes. However, please not that there will be no boat service during the monsoon season (May-October).

Detail : Although Koh Kham is just a small island among the nine islands of Mu Koh Mak, it is known as "the Emerald of Trat Sea" from its very clean and clear sea around the island. While in the western part are some rocks and steep cliffs, the front is a 300-meter-long beach which is a safe swimming area. Along the beach are lines of coconut trees with pleasant and quiet atmosphere. At around the front beach are wondrous volcanic stones. Archeologists believed this area used to be a crater hundreds millions years ago.
There is a view spot around 100 meters up on the hill, which can be reached by walking. From that point ones can see the impressive scenery of Trat Sea together with the most fanntastic sunset scdenery of Koh Kham.

How to get there : There is a passenger boat from Laem Ngob Port to Koh Mak everyday. Koh Kood is the farthest island of Thai sea

Koh kood Located 82 kilometers away from Laem Ngob Port, Koh Kood is the farthest island of Thai sea. Because there is no passenger boat to the island, you can get there only by hiring the motorboat from Klong Yai Port. Koh Kood nowadays is the popular tourists' island despite the fact that it is farther from the coast comparing to other islands of Trat. This is because the natural beauty of Koh Kood is still very fine and pristine, thanks to the distance from the land. Ao Klong Ta Tin : Ao Klong Ta Tin is a long, clean , white sandy beach. It is the place where a canal named Klong Ta Tin flows out into the sea. However. Ao Klong Ta Tin is accessble only by boat.,

Ao Ngam Kho : The beach is located next to Haad Klong Chao. The long sandy beach is good for swimming. In front of the bay is the pile of stones in the sea, and there is a white pagoda rested on that stony pile. The spot can be reached only during the low tide.

Ao Phrao : Ao Phrao is located about 1.5 kilometers away from Ao Chak. It is the last bay at the southern tip of Koh Kood. It is also the location of Ao Phrao Village, a school., and a temple called Wat Ao Phrao. In front of the temple is the canal that flows through rich mangrove forests.

koh chang The largest island in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Chang, is at the nearest from Trat coast, only about 8 km southwest of Laem Ngob Cape. At the heart of the island are high mountains and tropical rain forests which are the source of rivers and waterfalls, whereas the beaches are also attractive with various activities to enjoy. Lacated not far from Bangkok and can be visited in any seasons, the island has been a popular tourist destination for more than 10 years, because of the ferry service that enalbles tourists to bring their vehicles to t he island, and the good-conditioned roads to most of the areas on the island.

A lot of hotels and resorts as well as bungalows are found anywhere and will increase very soon including complete facilities such as shops,restaurants, bars, mini-marts, post offieces, banks , filling st ations, internet service, beauty salons etc. To get there : There are large ferries leaving Center Point Port at Trat to Dan Khao Port at Koh Chang everyday from 6.00 am-6.00 pm. The journey takes around 1 hour , and the fee is 30 Bath. OR you can board the ferry at Ao Thammachart Port at Trat to Koh Chang as well. It will be faster, around 20 minutes, and you can also load your vehicles to the island. The rate is 60 Baht per person, and 150 Baht for a car.
The very beaches of Koh Chang are Haad Sai Khao, Haad Klong Prao and Haad Kai Bae. Haad Sai Khao Location : Northwest of Koh Chang, about 3 kilometers from Ban Klong Son. Haad Sai Khao is like the tourist center of the island, being the port and the well-developed beach before others. Along the beach is the swimming area but some area is quite dangerous, so travelers should be careful. At night time,, a lot of seafood restaurants are waiting to serve tourists along the beach line including fresh seafood or barbecue as well as several entertainment, shows and bars. Sunbathing, swimming, kayaking to the northern cape, diving, riding motorcycle, watching sunset at the beach or enjoying tasty seafood, beer bars and shows, all can be found along Haad Sai Khao. Haad Klong Prao and Laem Chaiychet Location : West of Koh Chang, about 4 kilometers from Haad Sai Khao Laem Chaiyachet is a stone cape tha t marks the start of Haad Klong Prao. Although it is not good for swimming, it is the best spot to watch sunset. For Haad Klong Prao, it is a beautiful beach shady with lines of coconut trees. It is more private than Haad Sai Khao, so tourists love to sunbathe at this area. Here you may enjoy various activities, diving, trekking to Namtok Klong Plu (the most wonderful waterfall of Koh Chang), elephent riding, kayaking, watching sunset or drinking at the beer bar. Koh Chang Plaza located near the road at the entrance of Laem Chaiyachet is the center of Haad Klong Prao's night life similar to Haad Sai Khao. The area is also the site of Ban Klong Prao Village , temples, markets, touring service center and Chutiman Elephant Camp. Haad Kai Bae Location : Just next to Haad Klong Prao around 15 kilometers from Ao Sapparod Port Although Haad Kai Bae is smaller and shorter than the frist two beaches, the at mosphere proves to be more peaceful. You may enjoy swimming, sunbathing, watching the fantastic sunset, kayaking, or buying diving package to Koh Yuak from the resorts very well.
