koh si chang Location : Amphoe Koh Si Chang, around 11 kilometers away from the land at Si Racha. The journey takes around 45 minutes.To get there : Board the passenger boat at Charin Port near Koh Loy in Si Racha. The boat leaves every hour from 07.00 am-6.00 pm. The fee is 30 Bath.
Details : Koh Si Chang covers an area of 18 square kilometers. It is a large island with an old fisherman community. Koh Si Chang is quite a peaceful island with many various attractions, such as temples called Wat Assadang Nimit and Wat Chuta Tid, Chao Por Khao Yai Shrine, Buddha Bard (or Lord Buddha's Footprint), and a cave called Tham Chakkapong. Moreover, travelers could also visit natural attractions in the west, like Chong Khao Khad and Haad Tham Phang, as well as enjoy swimming, fishing and watching sunset.
The road on Koh Si Chang is wellpaved, so travelers might rent motorcycle to get to the attractions very well. The rate is 80 Baht per hour, 200 Baht per 3 hours, and 250 Baht per day. You can also travel by taxi motor-tricycle or Skylab, or buy the touring servicee with Skylab (150 Baht for a brief course and 250 Baht for a full course).
